PROTON has a full manufacturing value chain operations ranging from vehicle manufacturing, engine assembly & machining, stamping operations, dies & jigs manufacturing amongst others, which are pivotal catering to growing market demands.
The 1.5TGDi assembly line in Tanjung Malim plant was built using an IR 4.0 ethos featuring high level of automation to boost productivity. It gives us an avenue to attract and develop young talents who will help drive the automotive industry and the company into the future.
At the same time, we also invested heavily and expanded our plants to optimize production capability and to drive growth, local content, employment and capability in new technologies to cater for the development of the next-generation PROTON models.
We are committed to deliver high quality and reliable products to customers by adopting global quality standards and safety level. We continue to progress and roll out more new manufacturing facilities to enhance our production abilities and increase localisation levels for current and future models.
