PROTON YOUNG TALENT PROGRAM
PROTON Young Talent (PYT) Programme is a fast-track development program designed for high potential young graduates to accelerate job competence at the Entry Level. It is a comprehensive development program using the blended learning approach that provides exposure and prepares young talents to quickly assimilate into PROTON operations.

ONBOARDING PROGRAM

  1. Enable new young talents to have a smooth transition to the work environment and adapt to PROTON’s culture for greater productivity.
  2. Program include:
    • Briefing by key divisions and plants visit
    • Classroom sessions for identified program (NPDS / 6 Sigma / Business Etiquette /Mandarin Class)
    • Data Analyst Data Certification Program

JOB ATTACHMENT & PROJECT

  1. 4 attachments in Core Divisions for 3 months
    • Group manufacturing
    • Engineering & Technical
    • Commercial
    • HRBP function
  2. Group project for each attachment
  3. Duration: 1 year

PROJECT COACHING

  1. Every young talent will be assigned with a project coach to guide them to understand the business and operations during each job attachment.

5-YEAR CAREER PATH FRAMEWORK FOR YOUNG TALENT

    The framework includes:
  1. Leadership focus area
  2. Development plan – structured development program, job rotation & coaching
  3. Annual performance review and assessment
